My practice is based in a wide variety of mediums and is largely driven by my curiosity and obsession with learning about new topics, materials, and processes. I tend to work with personal themes such as my love for designed and/or handcrafted objects, craft traditions and techniques, and other day to day occurrences/influences. I think a lot about nostalgia and trauma and how they interact, and how comfort can often be found in unexpected places. I was born in New York City, and have lived here most of my life, except for the time spent in Chicago studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I graduated from SAIC in the Spring of 2023 with a BFA in visual arts, and am now learning to explore my practice outside of an educational setting.
